New Board!

Well, first came the board for the new rulebook, then the Studio, now this.

Welcome to the official board for RuneScape, established from Greenday and mojeda101's idea and due to the growing popularity of the thread entitled "Runescape" by flamexblade (now stickied and known as The First Official RuneScape Thread).

Almost everyone here likes RuneScape, so why not talk here? Go ahead and ask and talk here if you want. You might also be called noob like in the game. ROFL

Anyway, here are some things you need to know for this board:

1. No "pay for gold" sites. Recently, a user named People advertised for a site where you have to pay just to get some coins for RuneScape and other games like "World of Warcraft." Any advertising threads here for places to buy GP (game points) is grounds for a doubled infraction, for advertising in the wrong board and joining to only advertise (in People's case).

2. Be good to the froobs. Don't be mean to the noobs if they just registered, they might need some help starting out. Not everybody knew what was going on when they joined Club Penguin, right?
(Froob, in RuneScape terms, means a noob who has just registered or has been playing for a while and hasn't left Lumbridge, the town where you start out)

3. Do not brag about your stats. You are welcome to show off your stats and level to others, but please don't brag about it. Stuff like this commonly leads to flame wars over who's better and spamming often brakes out.

4. If you have been hacked or scammed, please don't beg others. Lots of people - especially members - are hacked and sometimes scammed due to the vulnerability of RuneScape's Linux server. If you were hacked and are missing a lot of items, don't beg to us. You are welcome to ask kindly for more, but constant begging or crying will result in the lock of your thread.

5. We will have some special parties on RuneScape and some trips on RuneScape for WW members. Anyone on WW who plays RuneScape can join in any of the official WWRS Parties, whether they be trips through the Wilderness or something or just parties in abandoned towns. Remember to stay tuned to this board for updates.

Pretty good ideas. Here are some other ones: highest stats, best equipped player, maybe even players with the biggest crap-jammed bank.
