| It was one year ago today (even though it was a Friday) that Waddle and RN marched over here and destroyed the place. The forum restore box was empty, so I couldn't restore it, I ask Forumotion for help, they promise and promise, and boom, we start the forum right over in the middle of October because nothing happened.
Waddle and RN were known as "mconnell" at the time, but I investigated and compiled a reasonable conclusion.

Yet, a few months ago, he continued to foolishly deny that he was involved in this, even though we have reasonable proof him and RN both did. RN even admitted it somewhere too.
Anyway, a good place to learn about the history of the hack would be the Hack Archive. The first post/topic made there (which was technically the first post on the forum since everything was erased) was made by Greenday, and read:

No,it basiclly looked like a CP forum,with CP penguins the new post/old post Icons,otherwise their were two forums,Hack Disscusion and some kind of general chat (Cant remeber the exact name).

| There were actually three boards: Announcements, EMERGENCY HACK DISCUSSION, and All Discussion (or that's what I think it was named). Also brett, we had no different old/new post icons; they were like they are now.

The forum didn't recover fast at all. We were "hacked" one year ago yesterday, and waited 4/5 of the month for Forumotion to come help us like they continually promised. However, nothing happened, and I had to start the board right freaking over. That's one of the major reasons I'm probably going to move to another forum - because of Forumotion's oh-so-great reliability.
I also temporarily moved to Srenfro's board because I didn't know he was a spamming idiot back then and he generously offered.
And as far as the style goes, it wasn't any different. Sometimes it takes a minute for the background image to load up, and you see a blue background, right? That's what it was before - just a blue background. For the logo, it was this back when we had our black theme when I started the board:
And when we had the blue background with the style we had now, the logo went to this, shortly before the hack:
To this, just before I fixed the board:

Wrong. Srenfro had been at this site for over 3 weeks before the hack.
