| That was because of the Catholic religion, everyone took it too literally back then. It is a lot better now but people were actually burned for being gay and burned for working on the sabbath even if they were the nicest and most nobal people. Witches were burned back then as dark arts (chemistry) was supposably against Christianity. Nowdays people don't take it as serious as they did back then but when you think about it, that was when Christianity became big so if Christianity is true you should take it completely serious and act like they did back then.
A logical, rational person knows that will just cause choas like it did in the medievil/dark ages so that's why we don't do that anymore, technically in these times noone can get into heaven according to the bible, it's simply impossible to be exactly like the bible wants you to be as that's what people were like back in the dark ages and you get arrested for that now.

| Exactly, they did that in Brittain they killed all the Jews who wouldn't convert and all the Athiests that didn't were deported to Denmark/Finland/Sweden/Norway, that area.
Then the same thing happened in Spain, hundreds of thousands were slaughtered simply because they believed in something different, that's just terrible.
