| This is a thread were I will post stories about my moms 2nd grade story. Heres my mom student, Mia, story.
The Walk
One day Mia invited her cousin over to her house. Her name is Tana. Mia and Tana had dinner. Then, Mi and Tana went on a walk. It started to get dark. We thought we saw something behind a tree. We were scared. We didn’t know what to do. Then we came across a school. Mia said “Let’s go in there”. We read the name. It was called Oakdale. Then Tana said “Ok, I guess we can go inside Oakdale.”
Mia and Tana walked in a room. There were spider webs in the room. But then the wind shut the door. Mia ran to the door. She said to Tana “The door is locked!”. Tana said “What is that, Mia?” They walked over holding hands. Tana found a button. She pushed it and guess what, it was a passage way. Tana said, “A clock!” The clock read 12 o’clock. Mia said we better get to bed in the corner in the secret passage way. Tana wake up. Mia was still sleeping. So Tana wake Mia up and the saw some light. They started to run and guess what, they reached the end of the secret passage way and it lead them outside. Mia and Tana were happy. Mia’s mom was so worried that she called the police.
It was getting chilly. Mia and Tana got very scared. Mia and Tana started to get hungry. Mia looked in her pocket to see is she had any money. And guess what, she had 20 dollars and Mia gave 10 dollars to Tana. Tana bought 1 sucker and 1 bag of chex mix and 1 candy bar. She ate the candy bar. She put the rest of the stuff in her pocket. Mia saved her 10 dollars. Mia and Tana saw a monster behind Mia and Tana. They started to run They caught the monster. Mia and her cousin ran to Mia’s mom. And they went into Mia’s house and Mia and Tana did go on the news. Lots of Mia’s friends and parents saw them on the news.

| On Friday night Cailyn, Carah, Callie, mom, dad and I went trick- or- treating. My family and I scared the neighbors and we said “BOO!” My costume was a witch and my sister Callie was a fairy. We jumped out of the bushes and scared them and they gave us candy. I got a lot of candy on Halloween and so did my sisters. And a witch was at our door and scared our family and me. A full moon was above my window and it was dark out side. It was a great Halloween!

Technically you fear everything as the reason humans are curious and the reason we want to learn is because of fear. When you fear something a lot you usually don't know much about it, eg: an alien beams you up into a ship, you have no idea how or why that happened, would you fear these aliens? Everyone would though not everyone would show it.
Just so you know I'm not saying everything scares us I'm just saying that in our conscious mind we fear everything since we can never know everything about something. We also fear bad things that we presume are going to happen, like if someone says they are going to kill you at 5pm and you knew that person to be a killer you would presume he is going to kill you and fear at 5pm you will die.
We fear things on different levels, the more good we know about something the less we fear it, the less good we know about it the more we fear it.
If we did not fear anything then our minds would never change as if your best friend who's always stuck out for you kills one of your friends over a girl then you are going to fear that he might one day do the same to you. You also fear for what you may lose or presume you will lose though not as much as fearing the unknown.

| i don't fear the unknown because even if something bad will happen fearing it won't make a difference. like you are locked in a cage with a lion injected with testosterone that is about to eat you being afraid of being eaten won't keep you from getting eaten.
