| We don't, it's a natural instinct.
When you fear something you are scared of it, it isn't an emotion since emotions are how you feel about different things, you may fear something but you don't feel fear about something you feal happy or sad about something though. You can be scared of something but you cannot be happy of something.
It's hard to explain as I'm not a Scientist but fear is a natural instinct.

| Without fear everything would be incredibly happy and good to us which is bad cause if someone is hit by a car or if something else bad happens then noone will help them as they do not fear that the person will die or that the same will happen to them, they're hearts are just filled with content. This would mean you'd never question anything you'd just always accept it which is bad.
