| Got the idea from a thread on the Blockland Forums.  Every round, everyone suggests an American state or Canadian province/territory that they want to sink. Every so often, the state with the most votes is sunk. If there are ties for all of them, there will be a poll for the first one suggested asking if you want it sunk or not. The next day, the votes will be counted. Round 1 ResultsCalifornia: 2 votesOklahoma: 1 vote California was sunk. Round 2 ResultsNew York: 1 voteKansas: 1 vote Poll: 1 Y, 1 N Nothing was sunk. Well, California had Adobe, Apple, eBay, Google, Intel, Nvidia, SanDisk, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, and Yahoo.
That means we lost Photoshop, Flash, Acrobat, DreamWeaver, MacIntosh, iPods, iPhones, accurate Web searching, maps, YouTube, 3D world imagery, accurate translations, online documents, 2/3 of all computer processors, great computer graphics, 2/3 of all flash drives and external hard drives, Java, Solaris, OpenOffice, Norton Antivirus, and more accurate searching - yet that didn't make California safe.
Doesn't make much of a difference, though. California was a communist state to begin with. |
